Various community members tied to the military service appeared to interact with the students on Veterans Day. Reading is Fundamental - program for Buckeye second-graders which is aimed at developing reading skills in youngsters. 
It is funded through grant money with the Salem Junior Mother's Club providing on-hands assistance.
